How we check

One source per row

Every airline row carries the URL we read, the date we read it, and a short quotation of the airline's own wording. We do not copy other comparison sites, and we do not fill a gap from memory. Where an airline publishes no figure, the row says "not published", which is a finding, not a blank.

Confidence

• official page: read on the airline's website on the date shown.
• official PDF: read in the airline's conditions of carriage or fee schedule.
• customer service: confirmed in writing by the airline; the row says so.
• third party: the airline's page could not be read; a named secondary source is quoted and the row is flagged.
• unverified: shown only with a warning, never in the compare table's fee column as a number.

Fees

Per item, one way, in the currency the airline prints. Where the airline shows a range across routes or booking channels we show the range. We never convert currencies.

When we re-check

A monthly job re-reads every source page it can reach and lists what changed. Airlines that block automated reading are re-read by hand every October and every January, before and during the ski season. When a value changes we record the old value, the new value and the date in the airline's history, and the change appears in the changelog.
